I felt sure something was wrong when I only got 22 pods from 76 pollinating attempts this spring.
How many stigmas do you pollinate? What is normal for your pollen strike rate?
Congratulations on the Pond Lilly/Romantic Evening cross. Sound like an opportunity for perhaps some fine seedlings.
As a point in passing, I did not acquire RE until summer of last year. I got it from a friend in Missouri. It is now sending up a stalk. It apparently had it's bloom time set in Missouri and it was not altered by transplanting...... either that or RE confused the spellin' of Missouri with Mississippi. (laughin')
