Re: SA cross

Hi Barb,

Mesmerizer doesn't produce much pollen for me here, if at all. I'll
have to check my records. From what I've seen, it can produce nice
flounced seedlings but I'm still waiting for my seedlings here to
bloom. I've waited for up to 5 years to see bloom from some
seedlings so I just plant them and move on with life. Regardless,
I've used it with French Horn and Sultry Mood and Kalifa's Horn to
na,e a few. The weather is extreme up here and I'm just noticing an
emerging stalk on an Arilbred so that will give you an idea of how
short the growing season is up here.

I'll share anything interesting if the borer doesn't destroy
everything again.

Chris

a lot as both pod and pollen parent. This year I had a bumper crop
of Mesmerizer blooms so I decided to go for an Acoma cross (with
Acoma as the pollen parent) since it had a bumper crop too. Not sure
how many took just yet tho, since Mes. has just opened its last
bloom. I think it bloomed 5 weeks this year! Making up for the ice
storm no-shows last year no doubt. Everyone seems to have had a great
bloom season this time around.

you think I would get with Acoma? Hopefully some pretty rebloomers
with appendages!

now that old blue historic Sierra Blue is blooming there, tho. I
still love it.
