Our most vigorous seedlings have come from SKY HOOKS but then its vigor
is well known with over a thousand progeny having been introduced.
Not a seedling but If it will grow in your climate I would strongly
recommend MIDNIGHT THUNDER . It is tall, 48" this spring and probably
going to get close to that with current rebloom. Both our two year
clumps have been the among the strongest increasers in the garden.
Currently have at least 12 rebloom stalks per clump and probably had
closer to 20 stalks each in the spring. A plant has to have excellent
vigor to sustain such bloom without going into bloom - out. Considering
the way HELLO DARKNESS grows for us it must get its vigor from TRICK OR
TREAT! Its been an even better rebloomer than DOUBLE SHOT and RASBERRY
FROST, our best rebloomers from Suttons. Mike Sutton even calls it a
good parent in the catalog.
