Chris, yes, this is my first time of actually keeping records.  I kept track of all these, except I lost the tag on one.  I should have good deal of seedlings bloom this spring, but they'd be from the couple years of non-labeling.  By some of the foliage it looks like I'll have more medians this time.  Hi is trying to rebloom here, but we have a chance of frost tonite, figures.  I added alot to my iris collection this year(300+). Don't want to count my chickens (iris) before they hatch (bloom), but I'm hoping for lot's of blooms to make those SAGE crosses on.  Good to hear from you. Cya.

Hi Will,

I always like seeing photos like this because there's always a lot of
hope invested in the effort.  It always seems to come through in the
photo, don't ask me know, I guess it's just a feeling.   I think it's
also your first serious effort with labeled crosses, no ? 

Before you know it, we'll be  making our first SAGE crosses. In a few
years time, we should have tons on interesting seedlings to share and
hopefully some data to add to the SAGE data base. 

Good to see everybody is still around and thinking about SA Irises.
