I believe this was a tag on a pod. Loss
of a tag on a pot would be bad also. I use aluminum tags with a hole drilled in
them.Then I drill a hole in the pot and attach the tag with a wire tie. Very
secure.
For the tag aluminum roof flashing works
great. You just score it with a razor knife and bend it back and forth till it
breaks. Use a cheep pair of scissors to round the corners, they can cut
you.
Waiting for first good freeze to plant
my seeds. Tags and pots are ready now. This year I am using clear address labels
with the crosses and seed count on them. After printing the sheet I
sprayed two coats of polyurethane. I experimented this summer and one
coat would not work. Water will remove black ink but it does not fade too
quickly. White labels do not work as they will peel off after getting
wet.
