Re: posting messages

The easiest way to post to the group I find is to have an entry in my address book for each of the groups in which I take part.  For this group I have an entry " SpaceAgeRobin@yahoogroups.com  ."  When I want to post, I usually do it from Outlook Express using this entry.  There are other ways, of course, as when I'm wanting to respond to another post.  Then I just copy the subject line by highlighting it, right click, then select "Copy."

Then I click on the line that identifies the group, usually the last or next to the last line in the heading, which brings up a box rather like Outlook Express, and just paste the subject I copied into the "Subject" line.

Posting photos directly so that they go with the message into the archive (but get chopped in the Yahoo list) I click on "Insert" at the top of the box that goes "Files---Edit----View-----Insert...." and so on, select either "file attachment" or "picture."  "Picture" puts the photo right in the message.  "File Attachment" gives the paper clip on the side, and sometimes the photo shows on the page as well.

Here's an example of how "Picture" works --(not of an SA however):

This is a seedling (# R 19-2) I want to test for SA seedlings, as ROMANTIC EVENING is a grandparent, and appears to inhibit SA _expression_.    I want to see if this block has been passed on.  Honky Tonk Blues is also back in its ancestry, being a seedling of Fogbound and Power Woman, the latter possibly an '06 intro from Swingtown x Romantic Evening.
