Patrick,

A bloom on GOOD FAIRY got zapped by frost in Oct a few years ago so 
I disected it and found tiny little spoons.  These didn't appear to 
be evolving from horns but seem to be born as little spoons.  

This plant had about the thickest stalk I've ever seen on a Space 
Ager, I was impressed.  Does anybody grow it ?  My plant bloomed 
out ;-(.

I attribute lack of appendages here to the shortness of my growing 
season but I'm keeping an open mind and hope for the best in 2005.
