Raised beds sound wonderful. But I am borrowing my aunt's former pasture
where horses roamed for years. I will be trying for a big pumpkin, but this
is my first year at that, so I just hope it's healthy. . .
I like herbs, so will put in a few of those. If I had a perennial area, I
would put in lamb's ears because they are great to touch.
I 'll do a little of the usuals, especially hot peppers and tomatoes. I want
to grow an heirloom variety of "something" for seed because I think that is
an important thing that most gardeners can do. I haven't gardened in a few
years, so I am rusty, but it comes back and if I forgot anything, I'll just
be learning something new!
