Re: Fw: getting ready to plant


     Well, on other lists there are periodic debates about the best way to 
     prepare a garden, double digging being the biggest source of 
     disagreement.  But I contend that each gardener has to adapt what 
     works for him/her.  Double digging and getting out those tap roots, 
     would help.  Then regular cultivation to keep them out.
     
     Old fashioned but those were the tools our parents used.
