peat pots, pvc pipe, ... - I use toilet paper tubes, packed together
standing upright in a seed tray. Free, long enough to get a good depth
of root indoors, bio-degrade quickly once planted out. The only drawback
I've found is that they can mould / mildew if the tray is covered to
keep in warmth / moisture for the little green guys.
