Where I s Everybody?

Good Evening All,

Is evryone as whipped as I am?

It's been an amazingly hectic coupla days getting the garden ready. 
First, I got to use a tiller for the first time. In the patch of 8 year 
old garden everything went well. Once I hit the grass though...It was 
taking me half an hour to dig up 20 feet! I priced a rental tiller ( I 
was using a Mantis) at $230 for 2 days.Who Knew??? Luckily my neighbor 
took pity on me once he saw me peeling sod up for 4 hours straight. He 
brought over a bigger tined machine that ate right through the grass and 
rocks. Did the same size area in 45 minutes...:p   But, what a sweetie. I 
didn't even have to bribe him with homeade brownies or nothin'.

So yesterday and today I spent my hours re-tilling with the Mantis and 
throwing grass clumps and more rocks out of the way only to till again. 
And this afternoon I dragged 7 wheelbarrowfuls (sp?) of my neighbors 
horse manure UP the GRAVEL DRIVEWAY only stopping 3 times on EACH TRIP to 
catch my breath. If it wasn't my arms falling off it was my legs...sob, 
whimper.... I've gotta get one of those big mamajama tractors for my 
birthday or something. I will not be doing this again next year!!

My husband says I'll drag this garden kicking and screaming into 
fruition. The garden that is.I WILL BE VICTORIOUS!!!!! Now, if I can only 
drag myself and my kicking and screaming muscles out the door again 
tomorrow.
