This list is really confusing. I thought Ant-tenners are those ants
that sing
"Danny Boy" in a voice between baritone and alto. And it
is spelled " ant tenor".
Any way, my little Palm Tomato plants are doing great. They
now have five peat pots as a "trunk", and are a total of
18 inches tall, (that's 256 cc's for you metric speaking people).
(bettcha didn't think I could speak metric, did ya?)
I had to leave them alone for a week without watering them,
so I put them in a six inch by six inch plastic tub (that's 12 hectors by
17 foot pounds, metric) and filled it with water. I figured that the
bottom
roots would probable drown but the roots that probably were
growing above the water line would do just fine. I was right, of course.
They used up all the water and still look healthy. I think I will
cut off their lower branches today and add another peat pot to each.
On another front, my garden is still under water, so it looks like
the pyramid project will have to be put off until next year.
One of the Stan's.
P.S. Sheila, I have identified your "Bee", from your discription. ( it
is about 3/8" long, with a pointed face,
proportionally long, slender abdomen, and yellow/brown striped fuzzy
'jacket'), but I am too much of a gentleman to tell you what it is.
What
the heck do you have running around your house?
