Janet,
I don't think you need to worry about succession planting with cukes!
They should bear until first frost or until they deplete available
nutrients. If you didn't plant them in rich soil or with some balanced
slow-release fertilizer then you will have to fertilize later in the
year to sustain the yield. I suggest a fish/kelp liquid fertilizer as
it is full of trace nutrients and growth regulators.
