hi pamela,
welcome to the list.
i save all of my eggshells and grind them up and sprinkle them on my
garden and i haven't had any more problem with slugs. there is some
stuff called diatomaceous (spelling?) soil that is sold in garden
centers thats supposed to be pretty goo also. ground up seashells(
after they've been soaked to remove any salt) can also work.
