Okay; one more for my brothers and sister, the veggie listers!
I am growing spaghetti squarsh for the first time this year, but don'r know
how to tell when it is ripe. I have one right now that is about the size of a
medium eggplant, and has gone from green to the color of a summer squash. I
know that they are a winter variety, but do you wait until you cant pierce
the skin with a fingernail, or what?
Thanks in advance,
Bill
