Hi Nesa, I lived in Jalan Bangsawan, Opera Estate, and Jalan Tari Piring,
Seletar but I cant remember the house numbers. I would have to find some old
correspondence for that. Also lived at Serangoon, The street name was the
same as a tree as I recall, something like Bougainvillea, Acacia or
something like that. Also live at Tanglin for a while in a BIG house but
cant remember the name. Other than that I was stationed at HMS Simbang near
Nee Soon.
One of my favourite places was Bedok Corner for good food and also going
round the Amah's market for goodies.
May be moving house again soon so that puts all the garden plans out a
little.
I live in England, on the outskirts of London but I am from Scotland
originally. I did love my time in Singapore though I was much younger then
and gardens were not a priority.
BFN Jim
ps this is supposed to be direct to you so if I've done something wrong and
it comes out in the group then apologies all round.
