hi amy,
i am having to reach back several years to remember how my moms pole
beans were as i don't have the room (yet) to grow any. as i recall, they
were really good growers and covered the teepee like set up that she used
for them. made for great forts for my brother and i :).
i would think that if you can untangle the vines, go that route, but if
you can't as they can get really tight, cut only the tentacle part if all
possible and reroute the main vine back to the trellis.
by the way how did the peas do for you? are you really getting into
gardening?
