Here in S.C. the summer veggies are biginning to wind dow(thank goodness!)
It';s tohot to grow or pick veggies other than early morning--if you don't
mind the heavy dew, and late afternoon--when everything has a wilted look-
unless of course we get one of those later afternoon thunderstorms!
Tomatoes are plentiful, also cantalopes, watermelons, corn and beans, . Most
folks around our area don't grow pumpkins or Winter quash--at least I'm not
aquainted with anyone that does.
Salsa recipe sounds good-I would like that.
