little green worms

I`m in Central Florida,
I have summer squash still growing, right now i have little green
caterpillar eating, growing, pooping, and laying eggs on my leaves
what will i use to kill, and keep them killed????
 How often do i spray what ever is sujested, 
i am a new gardener i have picked them aff , but that is alittle to much
i have some insecticides, but i don`t see my plant on the label, its
just summer squash, burpee`s.
