Our income is derived from our gardens. Well, the grasshoppers have eaten
all of our gardens. I talked w/the extension agent in Little Rock today
and he told me to use Sevin. Well, the extension agent in our county had
told us to use Malethion 5%. Okay, so no crops. This is our income. I am
going to contact our estension agent in our county, (Malthion) and we can
only hope that there is some sort of help or information for us. I do not
need or want to receive "help" from our local 'agent'. I want to raise
quality veggies. We have never used Malllethion before. I know I am
discouraged.
Any info or suggestions will be apprectiated.

Carbaryl is "Sevin"
> Sevin is an insecticide and is highly toxic to bees and other beneficial
insects. A application of sevin is often followed by an infestation of
mites because of the killing of good predators.
