Re: remedial question


I also live in zone 9 and I have found the planting dates recommended on
seed packets don't really apply to us.  I kept records beginning about 35
years ago that I refer to.  More recently, the county extension has
published recommended local planting dates for the varieties that can be
grown successfully here.  The University of Florida's Vegetable Gardening
Handbook at http://hammock.ifas.ufl.edu/txt/fairs/19996 has links to many
vegetables which usually include the recommended planting dates for
Floridian zones 9 & 10.  -Olin
