That mostly depends on what seeds you can get and how hot you want your
chilies. What do you do with your cucumbers? Do you pickle them or eat
them sliced in salads, etc. If the latter, try one of the Middle Eastern
varieties if you can get seeds. For chilli seeds, check the web page at
http://www.fragrantgarden.com.au/ or email Michael Bailes at
frgntgar@ozemail.com.au (I do realize that Australia is a few thousand
miles from you, but it's several thousand miles closer than the US).
Michael either sells chile seeds or he knows where to buy them. He's an
active participant in the Chile-Heads list (that's the preferred US
