Mine has fallen into sad disrepair during the first two months of my
pregnancy as I had no energy to even step out into the garden. Recently
though, I've been able to conquer half the jungle, pulling weeds,
deadheading, and trimming the more rambunctious plants back.
My strawberries are still producing although the foliage has
suffered from the recent heat wave. Harvested a couple of artichokes. The
grapes and plums are just about ready to pick. Tomatoes, peppers, and
squash are still sadly buried under the weeds, and my chard, lettuce,
spinach, and parsley bolted. Perhaps I'll get to the other half of the
garden this coming weekend.
