Hi Beckie from Ohio,
It is good to hear from new veggie-list members joining in and
contributing from the beginning. I have been trying to draw out the
people on the list that read mail only (lurkers.) It seems like we
have only a few contributers to info. I have been keeping a map for my
own info, because I had to admit that I was fuzzy on geography,
especially places out of the USA. It is interesting to me to know how
the climates and growing conditions around the world compare, and how
and what everyone's gardens grow. It is good to hear from a "Buckeye",
so close to me in the "Hoosier" State of Indiana. I live 20 mi. South
of Indianapolis, what city are you near, so I can stick-pin you on my
map. The hot weather has about done my garden in, but we have
harvested, frozen, and canned about all we need. I suggest that you
stay on the list, because you learn info that will help you with your
garden, even preparing for next spring, because there is someone, some
where in the world just starting their gardens.
Monica from Indiana
