Tomatillos: (was Re: *%&$#@ Moles!)

    Apparently you don't have sufficient bees or they prefer other flowers.
Try hand pollination.  Drop of immature fruit is a common symptom of
inadequate pollination. The flesh of the fruit grows in proportion to the
number of pollinated seeds. If too few are pollinated, the fruit simply drops
off and does not develop at all.

    I've not raised tomatillos, but the consensus of previous discussions from
growers is that they are not self-fertile, so be sure to move the pollen from
one plant to the other plant.

    Pollenizer = source of compatible pollen (daddy plant) - another tomatillo
plant
    Pollinator = agent to transfer pollen - bees, or you
