In central PA (zone 5/6) I just harvested broccoli, cabbage & brussel sprouts
for Thanksgiving dinner. All fairly small, but made delicious soup. Also
harvested last of buttercrunch lettuce, but it had grown VERY slowly over
the last 3 weeks & was too bitter to eat. All of the above were transplanted
about 1 month ago when I cleaned up and put the rest of the garden to bed, so
that could account for the small size & bitter taste.
