I will plant potatoes today,as we plant year around also,but the low off of Texas,has a front over us at thie time.It will get to 60 here today.I put row covers,over all the new 1 inch high Broadleaf Mustard,and Purple top turnips.I still have brussel sprouts,onions,collards,rutabeggars,cabbage going,and its time to put our small 10x10,seed starting green house.I saw some great things yesterday,and thoughts to start doing.The plastic mulch,really kicked the plants(young),compaired to just common open planting.The drip watering also,moved ideas,but its costly,for a small gardener.Some of the classes were sorta,down,many were hungry for steak,and feed a bag of chips(nothing to learn,boring),but material and vendors really paid off.I picked up a large book,"Vegetable Crop Guidelines",192 pages,from the Ag.Colleges,all I can say is,"GREAT"!!!   Many were there from,Johnny's Seeds--  www.johnnyseeds.com.  --Siegers Seeds--  www.siegers.com.  --Hydro-Gardens,Inc.--- www.hydro-gardens.com.   --- Organic fertilizer-(Neptunes Harvest Fertilizer)1-800-259-4769 --- irrigation,----  www.irrigation-mart.com.     ---Here is another-- Peaceful Valley Farm Supply --  www.groworganic.com.     .The last is for those with horses,cows chickens,pigs,gardens(no seeds,just tools)  --  www.enasco.com.  --- Order the Farm and ranch catalog,anything you will need.  James
