irradiated food


question was why reject irradiated food,

Probably cause the nutritional value of the food is destroyed ,,, ie the
enzymes are altered and at this stage of the game, we certainly don't
know what else is being done to the food's structure,, Live food rots
cause it has vital energy,, Anything done to the food to stop spoilage
or slow it down has to reduce its vital energy.. Just a minor point..
Storing food in a cool dry place like a root cellar is about the only
safe way  to retard some lost of food value.  Even with this method,
some nutrients are lost.
Even canning food reduces its nutrient value that is why we want to
always eat as much fresh raw food as possible except for certain foods
like rice, etc..  Grante in the winter we have to resort to canned foods
often... Always try to eat food in season, but that is a whole 'nother
subject.
