Stan, check with an electrician! The insulation on the wire for the lights
will break down if buried, and the foil covering the bulbs MAY be a safety
hazard. Make sure it's plugged into a ground fault interrupter; then you
can see for yourself if the electrical current stays where it's supposed to
- in the wire, rather than forming a dangerous ground fault. Good luck!
