Keep in mind that all scent repellents (like urine and hair) only work if 1.
The deer are familiar with the scent of the predator and recognize it as
dangerous to life and limb and 2. only work until they scent fades or until
you get a good rain to wash it away. This include the famous Irish Spring
soap cure. And the little pots of Vicks vapo-rub with holes punched in the
tops, though they are less affected by the rain.
