I don't put anything in the garden in general, except the green manure. 
But I do add slow-release fertilizer to the soil in or under each
planting.  I mix the fertilizer differently for each type of plant and
for the time of year, with the nitrogen source being the largest
variable.  My fertilizers are soy meal, bone meal, kelp meal, blood meal
and rock phosphate.  I use a little ag lime, which has no Mg (unlike
dolomite) because my soil is already high in Mg.
