Re: Vegetable Gardens chat today!


Dear Havi,
     I found that book about the lodge in Alaska.   Great stuff!    It's
funny how a background not grounded in restaurants doesn't seem to hinder
some peole from making a great success in this industry.  Some of the best
chefs around have lived out unrelated careers before venturing into the
kitchen.   One talented local sous chef was a rock star (minor one) before
he found success.   Charlie Trotter of Chicago got his B.A. in poli' sci'
before he gapped a satee pan.
