I have some garlic (small and light purplish) that I bought from a
Farmer's Market this fall. I used some of it in soups, then layed one
small, moist, bulbets in the window. A week later it was sprouting
roots. I'm thinking about planting them in with the old roses for
''pest sake'', and wondered if I could do that now in this winter
weather of 25-48 degrees f.
How do I plant garlic ?
Is there a ritual to it, or just stuff them in the rich soil ?
Or would I be best to wait till Spring ?
If so, how should I store them ?
Sincerely,
~Carleen~
