I let my Spring dill go to seed, then planted Fall carrots right next to that
spot. Volunteer dill sprouted all around maybe the best carrot patch I've had
ever. The only problem was the many Swallowtail butterflies that ate both the
dill and the carrots. I've never had a problem with Swallowtails when I just
grew carrots, so I think the dill attracted them.
