There are worse vises.
I'm planning on growing seed onions myself this year. I've never
grown them by seed before. I was first attracted to the storage
onions as the catalog say's they store better, and bolt less.
Yes, less expensive too.
Average days listed here for Sweet to Storage onions started by
seed is 100 to 125 days. Mind you, this is from the Pacific NW.
