You need to identify the pest before treating for it.  So be patient
until you see it actually on the leaves.  (Look underneath too.)

If it is not bothering the beans, I would leave it be.  May be a
butterfly catepillar!

Just my 2 cents.  Remember I am the one that doesn't want to kill ants
if possible ;>
