Hi everybody;
My name is Ann. Gardening - flowers and veggies - is my major hobby. I was
born on a dirt farm in Ky. and its in my blood if you know what I mean. We
live in mid-state NY now having transferred with IBM in 1982 and moved to
Kingston, NY. I retired from IBM in 1990 (one of those early-retirement
goodies). I then went to nursing school and then to Nurse Practitioner
Training wherein I specialize in Womens Health. Still working, but not full
time.
Enough background..........
This summer started out just great with lots of rain. Now it is dry, dry,
dry and we are hording water to keep things going. I always start early
tomatoes in big pots so I can get that fresh taste as quickly as possible.
Two, so far. There are enough green beans to have them for dinner tonight.
For the first time, ever, I have baby eggplants growing. Love it all.
Cheers,
ann
