Hi, its nice to seeing this list beginning to show
signs of life after a long hibernation. Well,in Singapore I am replanting my
garden- we garden all year but every few months or so there is clearing up to be
done and replanting.
One veg I am having difficulty with here is
cucumbers. I know farms do produce them here but I have been trying more exotic
varieties and having no success. They just seem to shrivel up and die. Our temp
is largely in the upper70s and early 80s, climbing to about 90 at most on a very
hot day.Is that way too hot? Do they need shade or lots of water? I have just
planted another exotic variety- Painted Serpent. I hope to have some success
this time.
Wishing everyone a Happy Gardening
Weekend.
Nesa
