Well, its time to start the fall gardens, and winter crops for the south, and now is the time to start getting material(leaves, old saw dust, lime, etc) in the ground,up north for a good break down, for good spring crops.Another good conversation,is a great greenhouse project,on a cheaper side. Here in south Miss.,I just started new field peas, snap beans, and sweet corn, squash(all about 10 inches now),next month, the brussel sprouts, collards, turnips, mustard greens, onions, etc, will carry us through to March, where we will start over for spring. The only sad note,is the watermellons, are winding down.Have fun, work that body, and eat well!!!!! I would like to promote some type of conversation to
get the mailing list use to the new email address. My
last topic was about Carrots.
The veggie-list@eskimo.com will no longer be active
once I feel everyone has accepted this new process.
