Re: Help Please....


If you're only getting sun till noon you won't have a lot of luck 
with tomatos. Try lettuce & onions. Potatoes do well in the shade as 
you have noted.

Slugs are a real problem in my garden. There's no good answer. Lately 
I snip them with scissors and leave them in place. The other slugs 
will eat them in preference to your veggies. If the weather dries out 
the slug problem will go dormant for awhile.

Aphids: hmmm... usually not too much of a problem outside. Knock them 
off with a stream of water. Too much nitrogen encourages aphids.
