Another option (that is just a thought at this stage) is to go to an art store
and buy a set-up for gold leafing, except get copper leafing instead. I am
pretty sure they make it in copper. In this way you could apply super super
super thin copper to something shape-able such as aluminum foil and put it
where you want. Or apply it to the top of the wood of raised beds. I dont
know the cost, but I've seen gold leafing done and it's not that hard. Just
apply a layer of adhesive, and put the very thinnest of copper foil on the
adhesive and then brush it to make contact. I might have to investigate this
the next time I am in an art store.
