Hi I just thought you should know that nitrogen plays a major part in
any vegetables growth. They need nitrogen to form proteins, chlorophyl
and nucleic acids. I think the atmosphere is somewhere around 78%
gaseous nitrogen, but cant use it. Instead the vegetables take up
nitrogen in the form of nitrates or ammonia. Too much nitrogen can
produce sappy leaves and shoots, perfect for greenflies to suck the
plants sap and infect at the same time.
