Re: Has this mailing list died?

No...I think the mailing list is an important information source.

I have an intensive organic vegetable garden...where I raise everything
from corn to melons..including herbs. Over this past fall, I have
constructed raised beds...installed a drip irrigation system...and
custom blended my soil with compost...dried manure...peat...and organic
fertilizers.

Although, I am located on Long Island in New York, I have tomatoes
galore on the vine...some vines have reached six feet tall, peppers are
flowering...have picked two crops of carrots, radishes, and just about
have finished all the lettuce. Started corn in large containers, and
they have already reached 4 feet tall...picked peas, string beans,
garlic is almost ready to pull, as well as, onions & shallots. I weekly
apply liquid fertilizer to all vegetables, as well as, monitor insect
damage..apply the necessary organic remedies...cabbages are very
large...have started last week my fall cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower.

Have experimented with copper wire through the base of my tomato plants,
as well as, epsom salt foilage spray for both tomatoes & peppers.
