There was just a big discussion of rust on the organic gardening list.
Remove the rusted leaves and pitch them. The rust is species specific so it
shouldn't spread to anything in your veggie patch...except maybe okra.
I do believe that the rust on my hollyhocks spread to my sunflowers, but I
just removed the leaves and went on from there.
