And another
I was cultivating a large area to plant out. It was one where I had
grown sprouts which had rotted off in the winter so I had just run the
big cultivator over it and it is now littered with part-rotted cabbage
stalks. Now every one is glittering with the silver slug trails. The
other half says that' because there is nothing else for them to eat',
but I think they may fancy them in a positive way.
