Hey JT,
	Suggestions pull the weeds in bloom if possible!?/, before they seed. 
Then mulch away, place cardboard on top of them to smother.  The
unwanteds will take all of your nutrients, moisture, before the veggies
get a chance.  Remember the work you did by planting and why.
