Hi, jtflash...
You aren't the only one with weed problems. We had a lot of rain here in
early May, which meant that I couldn't get into my flowerbeds or veggie
garden. The clay soil here turns into concrete if you touch it when it's
wet. I had to plant my potatoes by putting potting soil over the
holes...and today, I had to put a bunch more potting soil on to hill them.
Gets expensive. The flowerbeds are full of dandelions, grass, wild lettuce,
thistle, etc. Fact is, I won't be caught up until Fall.
