There's lots of rain here in sunny Surrey, England - and as a result loads
of weeds to hoe.
I've just subscribed to veggie list as a result of an article in the Royal
Horticultural Society's magazine 'Gardening'. It's been very intersting so
far hearing about the different conditions in the States - some of the
plants mentioned I've not even heard of let alone tried to grow.
I've only recently got the veggie gardening bug - this is my second year on
an allotment growing 3 types of potatoes including Ratte - an old French
variety which produce second earlies - small salad potatoes. The downside
is that they are not very disease resistant. Any advice - I'm under
instructions to keep the place chemical free!
Are there many UK subscribers out there?
David
