I use fresh garlic cloves. I slice some up and spread around the base of the
plant. I also mince some and put in a spray bottle with hot water and let it
sit for a day or 2 and spray the foliage a few times each week or the aphids
whenever I see them. I have also been known to PLANT the garlic cloves BEHIND
my roses...the scent is there and I get garlic cloves each year!
