Chinese baby corn

Hi guys, I am growing this for the first time. Has anyone out there tried it? I am Asian but got my seeds from a friend in Texas who hasnt tried them yet! I got mine started while she had winter.My babies are flowering. I have no idea what to expect / do next. Do I slef-pollinate at some point.
 
P.S I havent gorwn corn since I was 9, almost 30 years ago!
